From $0 to $8800 In Under An Hour With A 200 Person List

Background

Gerard came to us with a couple of unique products that he was struggling to get consistent sales with. The majority of his time was spent at his day job being a lawyer (one of the good ones) so it was hard for him to consistently dedicate time and focus to his products/sales. He knew that his products worked well and people would buy them when he was able to leverage someone else’s audience but didn’t have much to work with himself.

The Results

We quickly got to work with Gerard and in just a couple of weeks had everything put together for his live webinar. Gerard was able to maintain an attendance of 60+ people for the entire webinar which was pretty incredible for his small audience of about 300 people combined. At the end of his value-packed webinar he made an offer for his new high-ticket offer and was able to convert 11 people into this $800 offer. He was live for less than an hour and made $8800 (at a 17% conversion rate). Gerard had to run to a wedding after his webinar but he was celebrating before he even got there because of his new-found success.

The Process

The first thing we did with Gerard was take a look at his product stack and consolidated everything down into one main high-ticket offer. We identified the hidden pain points in his audience and created an offer that solved every problem that his audience was experiencing. Once we knew what we were going to sell, we needed to figure out HOW we were going to sell it. After dissecting his offer and taking a look at his audience, we found a new angle to market his offer with and it took off. 

How did we know?

Gerard created an incredibly simple opt-in funnel (literally just a template from convertkit) for his new live webinar that he hadn’t even created yet. I said it was time to run some traffic to the opt-in and see how the market responds. This is when I was hit with the “but what traffic Seth?”. I had forgot that Gerard only had an email list of about 200 unengaged people – not a whole lot to work with. I told Gerard that we had to work with what we got and he sent out the frst couple emails to build up some hype around this new webinar which was being marketed with his brand new angle. The response was immediate and out of the 200 people on his list, 48 registered within the first 48 hours. Not a whole lot in the grand scheme of things but it showed us two things – people are interested in this new process and Gerard needs to start building the webinar that he was going to be hosting live in less than a week. He took our proven webinar outline and added his content to the structure that we had already laid out for him and just like that he had all of the pieces in place to go live with his first webinar. Gerard spent less than an hour on his live webinar and was able to make over $7k from about two weeks of work that he spent his evenings on.

Now that he knows that his webinar converts well, he is able to reuse the recording and create an evergreen webinar funnel that will consistently sell his product around the clock. Gerard is following our templates and frameworks to plug-and-play all of these new tools into his business and will have this new funnel up and running in less than a week. From there, it’s the journey into paid advertising so that he can predictably and reliably find new customers all over the world that are going to love his product.
